What does it take to get a job with Discovery Communications?

My dream is to be a marketing or Project Coordinator for Discovery Communications. I applied to several similar announcements in the last year without response. I am qualified for the jobs I apply (Degree in Marketing Practices in a television, 2 years experience in marketing) and I am a great employee with excellent references, I do not know what I could possibly do wrong. I had several offers from other big companies recently but have not accepted because I can not give up my dream yet. really appreciate any advice or recommendations Discovery employees or former employees. I have not worked there, but tried to recruit twice. In any job – DC or any another place – it is selling yourself and your ideas. If you are responding to a "want ad" be prepared to enter into a long line of people – some more and other less qualified than you. I advise people to approach someone in organizaiton that 1) you hear, 2) to see a real possibility in his abilities and what they can offer. Try to meet someone in the organization. Network Attend a conference or professional organizaiton where you know someone from DC will present (in the wash, DC area?) or 3) write a letter – unsolicited – to the person who runs the division you want to work. Tell them you see any chance that stress exists and why you are the ideal person to help them. Administrators respond to that. As markt, 30-minute drive to share ideas MTG.
