Anyone else irritated by the networks constantly inserting a high sound field of "offensive" words?
I think the irritating tendency. Please, just omit the word! It is so fashionable to put a loud sound of the word. I even heard on CNN just said Obama NiBeeeeeeeeeep Minister. Leno used to simply ignore the word, now insert the sharp whistle. American Idol used to have a nice ring when people swear and now they also have the sound high pitch. It is even fashionable now to insert the signal in the ads as a marketing tool. I prefer listening to the profanity. Less offensive to everyone. Follow the example of Academy Awards and has just cut the word please.
Well, they're trying to hide the truth but dare not to eliminate it entirely:) in my opinion, ringing in is not really a big change because adults usually aware can easily get the word, but at least the children ask fewer questions about new meanings of words: D
