mlm networkmarketing

What is the difference between MLM and networkmarketing?
I see many people get those two confused! Do you know the real difference? If so, what is the real difference?
I have to disagree with the other posters. I do not feel the same. MLM is where they are paid only in recruitment people (no money for only the product). They have to buy a package of any company is selling, the "recruiters" are paid not only product itself. In network marketing, you are passing along information and sell a product or service by word of mouth. In nonprofit organizations profit, who are constantly network to market their services through word of mouth to the benefits of others and the community to serve the community and help serve other benefits and its people. So, from my experience with network marketing, there is a difference between the two. One has to hire people and the combined package (MLM) and the other, you can simply sell the product itself and / or hire people to help sell the product itself, without having to buy a package of guidance be a representative and payment. (network marketing) is also, basically, to carry its product through word of mouth and referrals. All businesses in network receives about referrals and word of mouth. Hope this helps!
